That’s up to you! Tenants on Placeholder are looking for everything from month-to-month to multi-year. Set your desired term based on your own needs and when you think you might need your space back.
On month-to-month agreements, the default cancellation notice period is 90 days for both tenants and landlords so you can have your space back in just three months.
The cancellation notice period can also be set higher or lower when you create your listing if you'd prefer more stability or flexibility. Please note that for fixed-term agreements, there is no cancellation option for both tenants and landlords
Tenants pay on the 15th of each month for the rent of the upcoming month (eg. October's rent is due on September 15). Rent is sent to the landlord on the first day of the following month (e.g. October's rent is received on October 1).
